Multiperspective Research
As an expert collective of researchers, designers and producers as well as volunteers and specialists, we know what is happening nationally and internationally in the field of health and dying settings and what is lacking. We seek conversations with people in different life situations and reflect on our research work. We are constantly expanding our perspectives, generating knowledge and sharing our concerns. finally.
Personal matter of the heart
finally arises from intensive research into the end of life. Final Studio is the brand, research workshop and the thinking studio behind it. The company is based on several years of design ethnographic research in care settings by the founder Bitten Stetter, and is tied to the designer's personal experiences, who accompanied a loved one on their journey to the end. Therefore, this thinking and care studio is nothing more and nothing less than a matter of the heart, which wishes our loved ones and ourselves a dignified death. finally.
critical assessment
finally focuses on knowledge transfer and participation as well as diversity, self-care and we-care. We want to inspire, remove taboos and de-uniformize, but we do not claim that in our individualized world this approach is the right one for everyone and that everyone benefits from our design. After all, we humans are all very differently "wired" and live, get sick and die very individually. finally.

Responsible Design
We are just beginning our work and are guided by the guidelines of end-of-life care and human or patient-centered design. We are committed to the right to a better quality of life at the end of life and want to combine aesthetics with function, care with support and life with death. It is important to us to create new values with the help of responsible design, sustainable production and our corporate strategy that is oriented towards the common good. We do interpersonal relationship work and want to help shape society in this way. finally.

finally is interested in working with care and end-of-life care experts and designers and maintains a wide range of collaborations with people who share finally's mission. To this end, we are looking for care designers who will develop products with us. Together, we want to show ways in which we can make our fragile times of life more acceptable and more lifelike. After all, we all have no choice but to go ourselves at some point, accompanying people in fragile phases or on their final journey through life.
